ABOUT

I enjoy exploring the city and learning new things. I'm a bit of a nerd (and proud of it), and have a sarcastic sense of humor. I love great art, a good read, and fine Belgian beer. I cry during sad movies (and am okay with that).

Trying to make the most of it. I spent the last ten years moving around trying to find the right place for me (I've lived in Ohio, Chicago, Japan, Massachusetts, and Los Angeles before moving to NYC). Now I'm wondering why I didn't move here sooner (she was always beckoning, but I think I just wanted to explore a bit first).

My work is creating awesome things on the Internet, and I love my job. Technology is a passion of mine, and I love that the web is always moving forward (as am I). I'm not one for getting by in a mediocre situation—if I'm not doing something exciting and meaningful, then it's likely time to move on (luckily I've found a challenging job here).

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors. Whether I'm hiking through the mountains or walking through the city, I need to be out and about, seeing the world around me.

I'm not much of a wild partier… I'm not opposed to going out, it's just that I'm not really a fan of large, noisy, drunken crowds. I'm more into hanging out in small groups and actually getting to know someone. (I do enjoy a fine drink and a fun night out though.)

I'm looking to meet someone who's thoughtful, interesting (and interested), creative, funny, and adventurous. Contact me if you're looking for a partner in crime to try out a new restaurant, drop by a gallery opening, hit up a street fair, catch some improv comedy, or to go somewhere we can have an interesting conversation.
